Purpleman is an albino Deejay from Waterhouse, Kingston, Jamaica that was very famous in the 80s. He started his career on 1973 and he worked with legendary labels and producers as Prince Jammy’s, Bunny Striker Lee, Henry Junjo Laws o Kenneth Hoo Kim.
Throughout his career Purpleman has collaborated with lot of greatest Jamaican sound systems. He was one of the most respected King Jammy’s deejays and also collaborated with big sounds like Rusty International, Sir Negus, King Majesty, Lee’s Unlimited, Doctor love, Soundtrack, King Atarus, Melophonic, Volcano, Jack Ruby, Emperor Faith, Tape Tone, Ray Cymbolic, Gt, Studio 54, Heatwave, Black Over, Young Sorld, Pisces, Black Cymbol, Black Scorpio, Youth Promotion, Killamanjaro, Arrows…
After two decades, Purpleman has returned to the fight with his new album called “Home Once More” and releases with various worldwide record labels as Jump & Prance. Purpleman declares that he has returned to the music for their fans, for those who after many years buy their music and love his work.
